Hi, my name is Heather and I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Fitness Trainer based in Winchester. I also happen to be just shy of 5 foot tall, hence The Tiny Trainer!
Prior to becoming a PT I had been involved in movement and dance for 20 years, as a practitioner and a teacher. This has given me a keen interest in the importance of posture within a fitness programme.
I discovered the benefits of a good fitness training once I had taken up running and realised that a rounded training with both cardio and strength training was essential for improvement in fitness and staying injury free. This approach is embedded into the programmes I create for my clients.
I believe that creating a firm foundation of fitness now will improve your quality of life for years to come.
I run strength sessions 1:1 or partnered in a 10 week block in my personal studio in Central Winchester.
These are designed to help build muscle tone, muscular strength, mobility and flexibility. I use a mixture of free weights, body weight, TRX, resistance bands and kettlebells.
Helping to improve functional fitness and can also help develop specific skills to help with sports such as tennis, triathlon or cycling.
